Versastack Keeps Stacking Up

Adding more to Craftsman's VERSASYSTEM is new Craftsman VERSASTACK tool bag. Not only is the bag extremely rugged and durable, but is also packed with features.

First and foremost, and my favorite feature by far, is that this tool bag is compatible with Craftsman's VERSASTACK system. It can be stacked on top of a system tower with ease. This feature also adds a second benefit: due to it's plastic construction, it makes the bottom of the tool bag waterproof.

Some other features I love is the on-board storage this tool bag  has - a tape measure clip is nice, but the front has a strap to hold a level! There is also a pouch behind that that long tools can be tucked behind as well. Additionally, the tool bag touts 31 pockets to keep everything organized.

Lastly, the Craftsman logo is adorned everywhere - on zipper pulls, the shoulder strap, and front and back of the bag. It really doesn't get much better than showing pride in your tools!

In a previous article I mentioned Craftsman's large case accessory storage. The large case features VERSASTACK latches, but I noticed the case is too narrow to accommodate some of the standard VERSASTACK products, such as the system suitcase or the tote. However, the tool bag fits on top of the large case accessory storage, so this makes for a great combination.

 My Facebook group has shown images of the Craftsman VERSASTACK 216-piece mechanic's tool set, which I was also able to get my hands on. The case is strong and built to hold the weight if the mehanic's tools it bears. Moreover, I love how organized it is, with clear markings on the outside for drive size and fastener types as well. The drawers open and close with ease and the tools are extremely easy to take in and out, rather than being stuck in like other mechanic's tools blow-molded cases. The top of the case can be stacked upon, but also features trays to put your fasteners and loose tools, which is a plus for me because I always utilize spaces like these to not lose my tools.

One of my favorite features though is the sides of the box allow Craftsman's small case accessory storage cases to be clipped in. I throughly plan on taking advantage of this to store extra mechanic's tool accessories I have, too!
